Aqua Lung's long history in the dive industry, the worldwide network of dealers, and the expertise of our companies, has led to the high demand for our equipment for recreational, technical and military applications in more than 30 countries. Aqualung had the patent on the very first scuba regulator to reach worldwide popularity, the “Aqua-Lung,” which was developed by none other than Jacques Cousteau himself. The famed undersea adventurer, alongside his colleague and fellow inventor Emile Gagnan, actually created the company that would later become Aqualung. Even after 70 years in the business they helped create, Aqualung is still innovating, providing high quality equipment for professional and recreational divers and swimmers.
